I am a New Jersey native from
a suburb of NYC. Painting has been my love since childhood, and I
began formal training in oils at the Ridgewood Art Institute and
then at the Maryland Institute of Art. I received my Bachelor of Art
in Studio Arts from the University of Colorado with a concentration
in painting and printmaking (May 2000).
I have been in the “interior
artwork” business since 2000. I usually work alone, but also
collaborate with other artists, base-coat painters, and interior
designers. My objective is to provide my clients with artistic
treatments ranging from understated to elegant to totally out-there,
reflecting each client’s personal taste, style, and interests.
My most recent focus in my
oil paintings has been on the traditional side: capturing scenes of
rural northern New Jersey and Pennsylvania before the landscapes
become erased by modern developments. I have also been painting
small portraits and scenes from various travels to Europe. With my
current relocation to Oregon, I’m looking forward to developing on
some themes I put on hold years ago, which should result in more
emotional and textured work.
